At Hunny Lu Lu's with 'The Nightmarcher'

A swinging time was had by all at the Return of Puttiki art show and crazy golf tournament last weekend. Sam ‘Los Furias Tiki‘ and Kessie and the team at Hunny Lu Lu’s tiki bar, Hastings put together a great weekend combining some of the finest Tiki Art in the UK and some of the craziest golf in the UK! Despite the organisers’ Dick Dastardly tactics of serving us some fierce rum-based elixirs at the art show’s opening night to impair our putting, I managed to battle my hangover and come in a respectable joint 7th in the golf tournament the next day. All art shows should be this much fun!

It was nice to see a few familiar faces from the Tiki Today show like the artistically talented, but golfing handicapped Kate ‘Clumsy‘ Hawkridge, gentleman Trader Jim of Pocketiki magazine and Jamie
and Anjy aka Cheeky Tiki – London’s premier Tiki bar designers.

Hunny Lu Lu’s is a great little tiki/rock n’ roll oasis on the British seaside- be sure to head there for one of their fantastic Mai Tai’s next time you’re between rounds of crazy golf
in Hastings.

Perhaps even more exciting is that I will also be taking part in the Puttiki Crazy Golf Tournament on Saturday! I’m not normally one for competitive sports but I fully intend to do battle and conquer Hastings’ most fiendish mini golf course and take the amazing coveted Trader tark carved Tiki Golf trophy home to Old London Town!
